How much does it cost to rent a car in Phuket?
A car from Ben Phuket costs ฿1,000–฿2,000 per day for a short rental, ฿850–฿1,700 per day from 7 days, and ฿18,000–฿38,000 per month from 30 days. Every price already includes first-class insurance with a ฿15,000 excess and unlimited mileage in Thailand. You also pay a ฿3,000 cash deposit, which comes back at the end, and the delivery fee for your area — free at Phuket Airport, ฿300 to Bang Tao, ฿500 to Patong, ฿700 to Kata, Chalong and Rawai. From 20 December to 10 January prices are 15% higher.

Meet at the airport or hotel
We check your passport and licence, photograph the car with you and hand over the keys. You pay the rental and the cash deposit.
Return with a full tank
We photograph the car again and give the deposit back on the spot. Both photo sets stay on your phone.

All the Cars are kept in amazing condition & extremely clean. I rented a Toyota Yaris, which was wonderful - super slick with the steering & offers comfortable, smooth travelling. I definitely recommend their services for anyone travelling to Phuket! We had a very good experience, Ben and his wife are really nice and the car was perfect. Finally the price was quite cheap compared to other agencies We rented a Toyota from Ben; he was extremely kind and flexible, and at the end of our rental, he even dropped us off at the airport.

Common questions
How do I book a car?
Send the car, your dates and where you want to collect it on WhatsApp to +66 65 748 8555. Ben replies himself, confirms the car and the total price, and the booking is done. You can also leave a request with the booking form on the site; there is no call centre.
Do I pay in advance?
No prepayment is needed for most dates. You pay the rental in cash or by Thai bank transfer when you receive the car. In the high season, from 20 December to 10 January, we may ask for a small transfer to hold the car.
What documents do I need?
Your passport and a valid driving licence. Foreign drivers need an International Driving Permit together with their national licence, as Thai law requires. We look at the passport and licence and take a photo; we do not keep them.
Can someone else drive?
Yes, a second driver is free. Send us a photo of their licence and IDP so we can add them to the contract; only drivers in the contract are covered by the insurance.
How much is the deposit?
฿3,000 in cash for sedans and ฿5,000 for the Toyota Fortuner. It is returned in full when you hand the car back without new damage. No card hold, and we never keep your passport.
Can you meet me at Phuket Airport?
Yes, free of charge and at any hour. Send your flight number; we watch the landing time and wait in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
How much is delivery to my hotel?
Free to the airport, Thalang, Mai Khao, Nai Yang and Bang Rong Pier; ฿300 to Bang Tao, Laguna, Surin and Kamala; ฿500 to Patong and Phuket Town; ฿700 to Karon, Kata, Chalong and Rawai. Return pickup costs the same.
