Why a car helps in the north
The northern beaches are quiet and spread out: between the resorts there are few taxis and long walks to shops and restaurants, and Patong or Phuket Town are 50–60 minutes away. With a car you are not tied to hotel transfers, and the airport is a 10-minute drive on the last day.
Driving times from Nai Yang and Mai Khao
- Phuket Airport: 5–10 minutes.
- Bang Tao and Laguna: about 20 minutes.
- Phuket Town: about 40 minutes; Patong: 50–60 minutes.
- Khao Lak on the mainland: about 1 hour over the Sarasin Bridge at the north end of Mai Khao.
- Nai Yang Beach is part of Sirinat National Park; the park charges an entry fee at some access points.
Delivery and return
Send the name of your hotel. We bring the car to the lobby and collect it there at the end, free of charge. You can also pick up at the airport and return at the hotel, or the other way round, still free.
