Which car for Phuket Town
The Old Town streets — Thalang, Dibuk, Krabi and Soi Romanee — are narrow and mostly one-way, so a compact sedan such as the Toyota Yaris Ativ is the easiest car here. People who live in town for a month or more usually take the previous-generation Yaris Ativ at the monthly rate.
Driving and parking in town
- On Sunday evenings Thalang Road closes for the walking street market; park a few streets away.
- The shopping centres around the Darasamut junction have large free car parks and are the easiest place to leave the car.
- Patong is about 25 minutes west over Patong Hill; Chalong and the Big Buddha about 25 minutes south.
- Rassada Pier, where most ferries to Phi Phi leave from, is about 10 minutes east of the Old Town.
- The airport is 35–45 minutes north, depending on traffic on Thepkasattri Road.

Send the name of your hotel or condo. We meet you there at the agreed time and collect the car at the same place at the end, also for ฿500. Pickup at the airport or at our office in Thalang is free.
